Asian Foster Family Initiative
KFAM is the nation’s first and only Asian Pacific Islander (API)-focused Foster Family Agency with services available in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese and Tagalog. The Asian Foster Family Initiative (AFFI) recruits and trains API resource (foster) families to provide culturally sensitive homes to API foster children. Learn More.
Child & Adult Wellness Program
KFAM’s Child & Adult Wellness Program provides individuals with the tools, education, support and resources to meet their diverse needs and enhance their quality of life. We also connect them to a broad range of government, health, legal and social services to more comprehensively meet gaps in essential health and human services. Learn More.
Clinical Counseling Program
KFAM’s Korean bilingual/bicultural therapists help individuals (youth and adults) with relationship problems, depression, anxiety, grief or loss, trauma, marital conflicts, parent-child conflicts, family violence, anger, acculturation stresses, and workplace issues. Domestic Violence Program
KFAM’s Domestic & Family Violence program provides those who experience violence in the home with Korean bilingual/bicultural crisis intervention, counseling, financial support, and cultural-specific education and outreach. We work with survivors and exposed children, as well as providing perpetrator accountability group programs. Learn More.
