한인가정상담소의 어린이 영양 보조 프로그램 담당자들은 정부에서인가 받은 LA 지역 및 오렌지카운티의 데이케어센터 및 데이케어 가정의 식사 담당자들을 교육하고, 식단 운영에 대한 조언과 꾸준한 모니터링을 통해 3000여 명이 넘는 어린이들이 매일 건강하고 영양가 있는 식사와 간식을 제공받을 수 있도록 노력하고 있습니다. CCFP 가정 부서(Home) 는 인가받은데 이렇게 어 가정, 그리고 CCFP 센터 부서는 인가받은 데이케어센터의 관리•감독을 담당합니다.

Introduction
The Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC) prevention program aims to reduce the use of alcohol and marijuana among the youth in the Koreatown Community. With the increasing rate of substance use within Los Angeles County, our program educates and builds more awareness around the important aspects for the development of youth and young adults.

Services
Our SAPC team works closely with local K-12 schools to provide culturally competent and responsive prevention courses/workshops to increase awareness about alcohol and marijuana usage. Courses/workshops cover fundamental topics such as harmful risk behaviors, healthy communication, and social support in family and social circles.

Our program is funded by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, Substance Abuse Prevention and Control.

Who can join? Individuals include K-12 schools, children, adolescents, and families in the Los Angeles County area.

Who are the SAPC Members? Our highly trained advocates are bilingual and bicultural, consisting of professionally trained educators.

When? Services are available during regular business hours of Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm and on some weekdays/weekends. Please make an appointment.
