Job Description:
Korean American Family Services (KFAM) is a non-profit organization specializing in gender-based violence, mental health, and social services to Korean immigrant families. KFAM is seeking a Gender-based Violence (GBV) Operations Manager to work under the supervision of the GBV Program Director. The operations manager oversees daily GBV program operations to ensure survivor-centered, trauma-informed services while supporting staff, systems, and service delivery. It also manages compliance, data, budgets, and cross-department coordination to maintain accountability, quality, and organizational stability.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Program Operations & Staff Support
• Oversee daily operations for GBV programs to ensure efficient, ethical, and survivor-centered service delivery
• Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and internal systems
• Coordinate service logistics (intake, referrals, scheduling, facilities, supplies)
• Supervise and support operations and administrative staff
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and staffing coverage
• Promote a trauma-informed, culturally responsive work environment
2. Compliance, Data & Financial Management
• Ensure compliance with county, state, federal, and private funder requirements
• Oversee data systems for service tracking, outcomes, and confidentiality
• Coordinate accurate and timely program reporting
• Maintain documentation in accordance with legal and survivor-safety standards
• Monitor program budgets, contracts, and purchasing
• Support budget development, forecasting, and expense approvals
3. Organizational Coordination, Quality & Risk Management
• Serve as operational liaison with Finance, HR, Development/Grants, and IT
• Support audits, site visits, and funder monitoring
• Assist with program launches and expansions
• Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements
• Strengthen systems for safety, efficiency, and service quality
• Support continuous improvement using data and staff feedback
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience working in non-profit organizations, a strong plus.
• Experience in program and/or operations management, a plus
• Bilingual in Korean, a plus.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Well-organized, self-directed, highly-motivated, and hard-working.
• Must have driver’s license, insurance and be willing to drive, as needed.
BENEFITS: Annual salary $55,000 – 65,000 DOE plus generous benefits.
